Several times a year, Alan teaches a course called “Financial Advantage” hosted and provided by the Yamaha Band & Orchestral Division. This is a course that allows Yamaha dealers to be educated on topics such as managing their rental pools properly, to financing their businesses properly, to “selling” themselves to lenders, to disaster and succession planning, and much much more.
The last class was held in Las Vegas, NV where attendance was high. In these economic times, where any information for success is precious, it is wonderful to see that Yamaha steps to the plate and provides that opportunity for its vendors. Between Alan and Yamaha, collective strides are being made to keeping the industry healthy.
