Evan KalishTax Accountant
Evan is our resident business and personal tax specialist. While Evan specializes in all aspects of tax planning and tax return preparation, he is also our “go to” guy in regards to compliance and research. Evan also handles the accounting and tax affairs of many of our musician and band clients.
Evan earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Connecticut, and has amassed several years of public accounting, tax and consulting experience with both a local CPA firm and the eighth largest CPA firm in the U.S. Over the past 6 years, Evan was in involved in all levels income tax return preparation and research for corporations, partnerships, LLCs, sole proprietorships, individuals, estates and trust.
He is a cabinet member of the CT Society of CPAs New Young Professional Group and is a board member of the Granby Community Fund. He received the CT Society of CPA’s “New and Young Professional to Watch” award in 2014.
Evan has been a drummer for most of his life (and, of course, a huge Dave Mathews fan). In his spare time, he plays with various local artists and has been a part of numerous recordings and musical collaborations.
