The print industry rock band, "Printz", once again played at The Hang at this year’s opening event for NAMM’s Summer Session. Printz consists of (alphabetically): CPA Alan Friedman (lead guitar), Victory Retail Support President Steve Harder (bass), Hal Leonard Publishing V.P. David Jahnke (drums, vocals), BoomBoom Percussion President Jen Lowe (percussion), Alfred Publishing National Sales Manager Ed Lyon (keyboards, vocals), Menchey Music Service President Joel Menchey (guitar, lead vocals), Music Inc. Editor Zach Phillips (guitar, lead vocals), and Music Sales V.P. Chris Scialfa (lead vocals, keyboards).
The band payed a 20-minute, 5-song set consisting of Guns ‘n Roses "Welcome to the Jungle", Billy Joel’s "I Go To Extreme", Bon Jovi’s "Livin’ on a Prayer", Rolling Stones’s "Gimme Shelter" and U2’s "Veretigo. Chck out Alan’s personal website (www.alhomeboy.com) for more pictures of Printz.
