Amy is an accomplished accountant and tax professional with over 22 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, and tax compliance. She specializes in working with closely-held businesses, providing comprehensive support in year-end accounting, tax planning, and compliance engagements. As an Enrolled Agent (EA) with the Internal Revenue Service, Amy is well-versed in guiding clients through federal and state tax authority audits. She offers expert assistance with tax return preparation, tax minimization strategies, and business consulting.
Amy’s expertise extends to QuickBooks, where she is a registered QuickBooks Pro Advisor. She provides support to clients in managing internal bookkeeping systems and optimizing their use of QuickBooks accounting software.
Amy holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Becker College in Worcester, Massachusetts, and a Master of Science in Accounting and Taxation from The University of Hartford. Her career spans several years of public accounting experience, including time spent enhancing her public accounting career at Crowe LLP and CohnReznick LLP, two of our nation’s largest CPA firms.
Amy resides in Connecticut and enjoys spending time with her son, traveling across the United States in the summer months, and enjoys listening to country music.
