Daniel L. Jobe, EA
Managing Director

Daniel Jobe is the Manager of our firm’s professional staff and is an accounting, tax and consulting professional specializing in all things music retail. Daniel has over 25 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, tax compliance, retail store operations, consulting, budgeting, business valuation, and AIM Accounting Software. He works closely with our music retail store clients to supervise their year-end accounting engagements to address any accounting/tax issues that arise, as well as assist them with annual financial reporting and income tax planning needs.
Daniel earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Missouri State University. Before joining FKCo, Daniel was the Controller and Chief Financial Officer for nearly ten years at Palen Music Center, Inc., a Midwest full-line multi-store music retailing business. Daniel joined FKCo in 2007 and brought a wealth of hands-on music retailing operations, systems, and financial experience to our firm. This unique level of expertise has made Daniel an invaluable member of our team and has allowed him to flourish professionally by gaining an even greater amount of accounting and tax knowledge.
Along the way, Daniel has become highly experienced in many different aspects of corporate and partnership taxation, inventory management, business valuation, business transition and management consulting, and accounting software support. By earning the IRS Enrolled Agent certification, Daniel has become a tax advocate for his clients when communicating with the IRS.
When he’s not in his office, you can find Daniel on the golf course or enjoying time with Meredith and their sons, Jackson & Parker. Daniel is also an accomplished and classically trained trombonist. Oddly, every time Alan asks Daniel to join his classic rock band, Daniel claims to have decommissioned his instrument.
