Melissa Pysar, CPA
Tax Manager
Melissa Pysar has become an invaluable asset to our firm. Since joining FKCo in 2017 as an accounting and administrative intern, she has consistently taken on more responsibilities, now managing a wide array of accounting and tax functions. Her ability to streamline key processes—such as 1099 and property tax reporting—has had a significant impact on our operations.
Melissa oversees all aspects of our business clients’ year-end accounting engagements and is responsible for preparing both individual and business income tax returns. She also manages client data using QuickBooks Accounting Software and frequently works directly with clients to ensure they’re utilizing the platform’s full functionality. Additionally, Melissa has developed a niche expertise in the accounting, budget tracking, and financial reporting of musical tours for our traveling musicians and bands.
Melissa earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting in 2019 and her Master’s in Business Management in 2020, both from the University of Saint Joseph. In March 2023, she earned her Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license, further establishing her as an expert in public accounting.
Outside of work, Melissa enjoys shopping sprees, exploring new gluten-free restaurants with friends, and spending quality time with her dog, Obi.
