“The Accounting Crows” have been performing some live gigs around both the state and the country. The Accounting Crows includes firm member Alan “Luke” Friedman, CPA on lead guitar and vocals, as well as John “DelPuesto” DelGrego, CPA on lead vocals and rhythm guitar, Mike “Ringo” Fortunato, CPA on drums, Reed “Smokin'” Risteen, CPA on bass, and Mark “Shecky” Zampino (Public Affairs Director of the CSCPA) onkeyboards. And for the really special “high-profile” gigs, the Accounting Crows welcome the Crowquettes (chick singers Cheryl Cormier, Gail Schiro and Nancy Battistini) and our favorite jack of all musical trades musician, keyboardist Jeff Batter.
Set lists typically includes a wide variety of rockers from the 60s to the 90s, including tunes
by The Beatles, Deep Purple, Rolling Stones, The Who, Bad Company, Steppenwolf, The Monkees, Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Santana, ZZ Top, Sheryl Crow, Gin Blossoms, Stevie Nicks,
Faith Hill, Grand Funk and Fleetwood Mac, to name a few.
For those of you who missed the end-of-tax-season gigs on April 15th at Murphy & Scarletti’s, keep checking back here to find out the band’s next public appearance. Our gigs are always fun
for us, as we donate our fee to worthy charitable causes. Prior year beneficiaries have been Americare, The American Breast Cancer Foundation, CT Charity for Disabled Women, Foodshare and
The Make-A-Wish Foundation.
